Stephanie Wood is a freelance illustrator based in New York City. She graduated from the School of Visual Arts in 2020. The mediums of her work include digital, silkscreen, risograph, and watercolor. She grew up in upstate New York surrounded by nature, which greatly contributes to her love of flora and fauna. Her artwork mainly focuses on whimsical depictions of animals in celebration of the species we share the Earth with. They also include the message of balancing ourselves with nature and the unfortunate position humans have put animals in for our own needs. She hopes to continue her illustration career while simultaneously working with animals to spread knowledge and awareness of their beauty.
